Chowder

8 slices Oscar Mayer bacon
1 c. chopped onion
4 cans minced clams, drained (reserve liquid)
1 bag Potatoes O'Brien
Salt & pepper to taste
2 c. milk
2 cans sweet whole kernel corn
1 can Progresso white clam sauce


In large frying pan cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from frying pan and cook onion in the bacon grease. Cook onion until tender. In large kettle add the following: onion and the bacon grease, potaotes, salt and pepper, corn, reserved clam liquid and white clam sauce. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and cover. Simmer for approximately 10 minutes until potato is cooked. Stir in milk and minced clams, heat through, stirring occasionally.
