Clam Chowder

1 can clams
3 slices bacon, crisp
4 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 c. milk
1 c. half and half
3 tbsp. flour


Fry bacon, drain grease. Squeeze liquid form clams. Cook for 5 minutes - 2 cups diced potatoes in 1 1/2 cups water. Add to above 1 3/4 cups milk and the half and half. Blend 1/4 cup milk and flour together. Stir milk and flour into chowder. Add clams. Add all ingredients. Bring to boil. If you want this thicker, add more flour.
