Prawns Alla Plancha

250 g Large prawns; shell on
3 tb Olive oil
3 Cloves garlic; peeled
Sea salt


Pound the garlic in a large cupful of salt and if liked, add some chilli. "Wet" the shellfish (shell-on) with the oil and rub well with the garlic salt.

Grill on the hottest part of the barbecue for 3-4 minutes until they colour-up pinky red and are cooked through.
