Baked Stuffed Lobster

Baked, stuffed "New England" Lobster
1 each (1 1/2 lb.) Lobster with claws (alive)

Lay Lobster on back and cut with knife through center lengthwise. Remove center (dark) intestinal tract. Place in flat pan and put under broiler (2 inches) for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, then stuff with following dressing.

Dressing:

Melt 1/8 pound butter in saucepan. Add 1 small can minced Clams. Add enough Italian bread crumbs to make paste. Remove from heat and stuff Lobster after turning over with belly up. Cook another 8 minutes, or until stuffing gets toasted. Sometimes the claws have to be removed and cooked a few minutes longer under the broiler. Delicious dipped in melted butter. Anything that is soft inside the Lobster can be eaten.
